Sandy Lane Resort

Excellent staff. Friendly, welcoming & responsive. Town is a 20 minute drive. Cabins are spotless. Hall’s Lake is beautiful. Great beach area with lots of things for adults & children to do. You can walk for miles enjoying nature. All kinds of wild birds, bunnies, deer, etc. And at the end of the day, get the campfire going & look at the sky, stars, moon and lake in solitude. Love this place. Already booked for next year.

This is our 3rd time here! Last summer for a week, last winter for an adult only getaway and just left from a week away with family! This place has everything you need from great clean cabins, not many mosquitos, perfect Sandy beach, amazing playground, games room, badminton, shuffle board, kayaks, I could go on forever!!Rob, who takes care of the grounds and the people is so amazing to deal with as well!Anything you need, they are so amazing here and I recommend it fully for anyone who wants to get away.. with family or some alone time!! Awesome cabins, thank you and we will be back!!

Rustic cabins, but all the amenities are there. The staff is efficient and super friendly. Lots of activities available for all ages. A for sure comeback location for us.

We've been to Sandy Lane many times and have enjoyed ourselves. The scenery, as always is beautiful and the water is clear. The overall grounds were maintained and there are many activities for the children to do. The resort is family friendly and works for our large group.Cons:This year we noticed that the cottages need maintenance (wood rot, brown leak spots, dismal water pressure). It wasn't thoroughly cleaned either, in comparison to previous visits. We ended up removing lots of dust, hair and cobwebs ourselves to feel more comfortable. We booked a few cottages and they all needed a good cleaning.Response to Management:Thank you to the management for commenting on my concerns. We did see the handyman several times (he was a kind man and very decent to the kids). By then, we had already cleaned, and so there was nothing he could do about it. Also, as we were already there, there was nothing that could be done about the *brown* leak spots on the ceilings. We made the best of it.As for the music, no, that is not the cause for my review. We complied with the music request, turned down our music, and continued having a wonderful time. Management came around after that and there wasn't any hostility. Your request was reasonable, so we adjusted our music to accommodate you and I did not make any complaint. Actually, it's funny you mention this because you came to us several times and apologized for your handling of the situation on your part.What's interesting here, is that your reply indicates that you think our concerns are not valid. I chose to speak about a worsening experience based on the excellence that we have enjoyed in the past. We have a valid reason to write what we experienced.

Incredible staff and location. Right on the shore of Hall's Lake for great swimming. Staff are incredible, romms are great. Many different cabins to choose from based on your needs. Kayak and canoes are included in the rental as are life jackets. Couldn't ask for a better time, well maintained and the staff are available and fantastic. Would totally recommend. We will be rebooking for next year without question.

This is our 4th time spending family day weekend here at Sandy lane. We come with a group of several families to snowmobile, toboggan and have all around great winter fun.Sandy lane has everything you need for a great time outside.The B trail is just a jaunt away, for easy access to all the snowmobile trails.The resort has a fun games room to entertain the kids.The cabins are quaint and comfortable. The hot tub rooms are a must :)The staff are helpful and friendly. Kenny is the best and will take good care of you on your stay.Can’t wait to come back next year.

Loved it! Cottage was awesome & clean.. Had all the comforts that requires to make our stay peaceful.. kids loved playground & skate rink , skiing , small toboggan hill, board game room.. Owners were welcoming & were very helpful ( just one call they would immediately respond to our requests) .. would definitely return during summer time.

Great place and the only reason it got 4 star is because I didn't have any shampoo and soap for showering.

Great family vacation spot. Lots of water and playground sports / activities available. Lake is clear and shallow a ways out. Hope to come again! ☺️
